Nataraja takes the cosmic stage
His wild dance untamed with rage
Creating, destroying in the same breath
As ignorance challenges wisdom’s path

Apasmara’s veil of delusion descends
Severing the thread that knowledge transcends
Yet the dancer’s steps pierce the night
His rhythm ablaze with wisdom’s light

The matted locks whirl in a fiery sweep
Unveiling the truth ignorance keeps
As the drum beats the melody of life
Knowledge conquers the demons of strife

Shiva’s dance asserts the cosmic refrain
That wisdom over nescience must ever reign
While Apasmara’s demons may linger awhile
They fade in the glow of the lord’s cosmic smile
